The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has implemented Bid Express 
electronic bidding.  CDOT is accepting electronic bids for jobs opening 
on and after March 15, 2007.


The bidder shall continue to submit the proposal (bid) in accordance with the 
Rules For Prequalification, Debarment, Bidding and Work on Colorado Department 
of Transportation Road, Highway and Bridge Public Projects  " The Rules".  Effective 11/1/06

JOINT VENTURE APPLICATIONS FOR DESIGN BUILD PROJECTS IN REGIONS 5 AND 
6, Prospective bidders are directed to Chapter 2 Prequalification 
Application, RULE 2.03, in the Construction Project Rules prior to 
bidding these projects to ensure proper prequalification.

A joint venture may apply for prequalification in the name of the joint 
venture 
or each member may apply for prequalification seperately and then 
submit a bid 
as a joint venture if all members are successful in becoming 
prequalified.  A 
joint venture will be considered prequalified to the highest financial 
level of 
prequalification of any of the individual parties to the venture.
